Our new song “Cigarette” is a burning hot ember. It’s a grunge behemoth brooding about intrusive thoughts and codependent memories, dressed in a delicate voice whispering to you to light up just one more time. 🔥

The circling vocals dwell on a past memory or a present addiction that’s gnawing at you when you’re vulnerable, dragging you down and closer to your grave. ⚰️

The inevitable capitulation floods in with massive guitars and supple strings carrying the epic weight and exhaustion of holding onto such heavy thoughts and vices. A real scary one from a couple of wayward monsters I’d say… 👹

We wanted to do something extra special for this one so we enlisted the help of Professional cellist Ben Muñoz of the Kansas City Performance Troup "Quixotic Fusion" to lay down some powerful and haunting cello to bring this song to the next level. It was a real challenge getting all the pieces together but absolutely worth it and we are thrilled to present to you our most dynamic and collaborative song yet. 🎻 🎸
