Experiencing betrayal might be one of the most universal human experiences and our new song "Matches" is all about facing that treachery head on.

The pandemic was a weather test of our inner circle showing us who really had our back and who was always ready to stab it. Take that knife out of your back and cut out those fair-weather friends/two-timers from your life.

Do it quietly. Don't put them on blast in person or social media. Blowing up just validates their power over you. Removing people from your life is not about hurting them, but letting go and recognizing your own self-worth because you deserve better.

It's hard. So it helps to have a couple good anthems to listen to bolster your resolve. Matches is that very anthem. It's decadent, It's indulgent, and provided me much catharsis over the last two years writing and recording it.

Matches is the first detonative track off of our new EP, "Enough to be Dangerous" and sets the tone for the avalanche of catchy chaos to follow the rest of this year. We're no longer surviving, we're thriving.
